GP online services will enhance the quality of care you are provided by offering online services; increasing choice and convenience for your patients. GP online services is an NHS England programme designed to support general practices to confidently offer these online services to patients, increasing choice and convenience for patients and responding to your needs.

Patients have been telling us that they want to be offered more convenience, choice and control in how they access GP services. Increasingly, they also want to be informed and involved in decisions about their own care and treatment.

Evidence shows that patients who are informed and involved in their own care have better outcomes and are less likely to be hospitalised.

NHS App

The new NHS app offers the same service as online access. This way it is hassle free and can all be done from your smartphone as long as you can provide proof of ID. Feel free to ask about it at reception.
