Happy to Help, Teams and Bensham Community Care and Foundations Furniture are continuing to work closely together do everything we can to support vulnerable people in Gateshead most affected by the current Coronavirus Pandemic. As a group of third sector services we are now providing the following services during the next few months:-
Hot Meals Delivery
Teams and Bensham Community Care’s regular lunch and activity clubs for older people are cancelled until further notice but we are continuing to provide our beneficiaries with hot meals and as much support as possible so that we can help alleviate loneliness and isolation.
We are also extending our services to the wider community. From this week we are providing a hot meal delivery service, Monday to Friday, to any elderly residents in Central and Inner West Gateshead. (Teams, Bensham, Lobley Hill, Saltwell, Dunston and central Gateshead.)
Our hot meals, puddings and a variety of baked goods are freshly prepared each day by our fully trained cooks in our professional catering facility which has a 5* hygiene rating by Environmental Health.
